Books Honor People
The Houston County Library has an easy way for you to honor/remember people with our Books Honor People program. Simply fill out the Books Honor People form, mail it to the Houston County Public Library with your donation, and a book will be added to the Library system branch of your choosing, honoring someone.
List the interests of the person you wish to honor, and the Collection Development Committee will select and order an appropriate book. After the book is received, a special bookplate will be secured to the inside front cover of the book. Donor and person or family honored will be notified twice: when the contribution is received and when the book is ready to be placed in the library’s collection.
If you are interested in honoring someone, download and print out a form, fill in the information, and mail the completed form, along with your funds, to the address on the application.
